2023-01-06 - During the month of January, many ongoing updates will be made to the IVV website, to both the desktop and mobile versions.

2023-01-06 - A new IVV-Europe 2023 Challenge is announced.

2022-08-22 - At the IVV Congress of Delegates, Tampere/Finland was chosen as host of the IVV Olympiad in 2025. Date: August 14-17, 2025

2023-06-06 - The 2024 Canadian Walking Festival will be held in Kingston, ON from May 24-26. The schedule of events and registration form are now available online.

2023-05-07 - The IVV has a new, official FaceBook Group page. Members at all levels can share their information, photos and walking experiences with others around the world. Please visit the IVV-International Group page. The other official sources of information are: Ivv-Muller (FaceBook notices from the IVV Executive Assistant, Tanja Müller), IVV-Web.org (Official website for news, membership, programs, resources and contact), IVV-Online.org (Official online database for our organized events worldwide).

2023-05-07 - The IVV requsts submissions for the design of an official mascot. Please refer to this letter from IVV President Colantonio.

2023-02-20 - During the recent IVV Olympiad in San Antonio, TX, IVV President Colantonio met with Liisa Tyllilä representing the Organizing Committee of IVV-Finland to sign the contract for the 2025 Olympiad in Tampere. Also present was IVV Secretary Dannemark who will be the Presidium advisor for the Organizing Committee. Information brochure.

2023-02-19 - Congratulations are due to Dr. Motohiro KAWAUCHI who was elected President of IVV-Asia at their meeting during the IVV Olympiad in San Antonio, TX USA. Four Vice-Presidents were also elected: Mr. Pan-Nan Huang of Taiwan; Mr. Vladimir Menovshchikov of Ginseng Group, Vladivostok, Russia; Ms. Fitriani Kuroda of Indonesia; Mr. Sang Kyu Sun of Korea.

The 6th Asianpiad 2024 will be held in Suncheon Korea. The date of the event has not yet been confirmed.
