2022-12-12 - The 7th Europiad will take place in Waidring, AUSTRIA which is in near Kitzbüheler-Alpen - Pillersee Tal from May 29 to June 01 2024.

The 18th IVV Olympiad in San Antonio, Texas USA - Registration is now open. The IVV Olympiad will take place from Feb. 19-23, 2023, and be followed by the IML Texas Trail Roundup, Feb 24-26, 2023. Discounted registration fees are available until September 30, 2022.

The IVV Olympiad is held every second year in the country of an IVV member. It is a celebration of Volkssports and everyone is invited to participate. Olympiad Volkssport events include walking, swimming, biking, and sometimes other non-competitive sports. Social and cultural activities promote harmony, mutual understanding, and friendships among those who attend.
2022-02-24 Announcement: Unfortunately, the 17th Olympiad in Seoul, South Korea has been cancelled due to the pandemic situation.
IVV Congress of Delegates
2022: The Congress of Delegates previously chosen for Ottawa, CANADA has been cancelled and rescheduled for Kehl, GERMANY on 23.08.2022. Procedures and deadlines are announced on the IVV News page for 2022.

IVV-Asia 'Asianpiad'
2022: Vladivostok, Russia - The 5th Asianpiad in Vladivostok, Russia will take place Oct 22-23, 2022. CANCELLED
IVV-Americas 'Americaspiad' - The Governing Council of IVV-Americas announces that there will be no Americaspiad in 2020. Other walking festivals in Australia and Canada for 2020 and beyond are as follows:
Australia: Canberra 2-Day Walking Festival
2021: 27-28.März; 2022: 26-27.März
Canada: Victoria, BC - Phoenix Walking Festival (every 2 years)
