The 6th Asianpiad 2024 has been elected to be held in Sunchon Korea. The date of the event has not yet been confirmed.
The 5 th IVV ASIANPIAD: IVV-Asia, in consultation with the IVV, has decided to cancel the IVV-Asianpiad in Vladivostok, Russia.
The 4th ASIANPIAD was held in Yogjakarta, Indonesia on November 17-18, 2018 and coincided with their IML event, the 10th Jogja International Heritage Walk.
The 3rd ASIANPIAD took place in November, 2016 at Taipei City, Chinese Taipei , hosted by the Chinese Taipei Alpine Association (CTAA). It coincided with the IVV-Asia Congress.
The 2nd ASIANPIAD was conducted in November 2014 in conjunction with the Japan Three-Day March (IML) event in Higashi-Matsuyama City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
The 1st ASIANPIAD was held in June 2012 in Suncheon, Korea.
ASIANPIAD Certification Program - Certification will be given to walkers who participated all the five Asianpiads in all IVV-ASIA countries. The certificate will be offered at the Vladivostok event goal area. If a walker participates in an IVV Olympiad in IVV-ASIA countries (Japan, Korea), the participation will be substitutable for Asianpiads in Japan or Korea. Participation will be confirmed with IVV walking passport or certification of achievement of previous Asianpiad/Olympiad.
